What to Expect

Many times people are a little unsure what to expect when they show up at a new church. You may have questions about how we do things and so we are hoping to answer some of those here. If there are more questions you have please visit the other pages on our site and never hesitate to call or email.

At Grace Church we believe that God's Word the Bible has the answers for all circumstances of life. Because of this belief we preach and teach from the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter. Our current study Sunday Morning's is in the book of Genesis. We believe that Genesis is all about beginnings and that it serves as the foundation for our faith. We are somewhat traditional in our service style while seeking to provide an atmosphere of worship that enables all who come to bring praise, honor, and glory to God. We sing both traditional hymns and newer songs, accompanied by piano and other instruments as available. We celebrate the Lord's Supper the first Sunday of every month and the entire focus of that service is the remembrance of Jesus Christ. We remember not just what He has accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection but also who He is; the life He lived while on this earth. It is our desire to become like Him in all things and that can only be accomplished as we come to know Him more through His Word.

If you choose to join us for our Sunday School hour you will enter through the north entrance and find our Sunday School class for adults in the the church fellowship hall. Children's Sunday School classes are down the hall in classroom 1.

When you come to our worship service you will enter through the south entrance where we have snacks and coffee. The service is held in the auditorium and typically runs an hour and a half. You are welcome to keep your children with you in the service, utilize our cry room (attached to the auditorium) or we have a very nice nursery for infants and toddlers. Children's church is available in the main hall classroom and begins after the Scripture Reading immediately before the message.

If you are wondering what you should wear to Grace Church COME AS YOU ARE!

We look forward to meeting you, fellowshiping with you, and glorifying our great God and Savior Jesus Christ together!
